1. Before pasting, clean and dry the skin around the stoma with warm water or physiological saline;
2. Use a stoma ruler to measure the diameter of the stoma. Choose a pocket with an aperture that is equivalent to or slightly larger than the stoma size, and if necessary, cut the hole (the cut hole should not exceed the packaging label);
3. During the pasting process of the urinary tract ostomy bag, to prevent urine from flowing out during the pasting process, a gauze pad can be temporarily applied at the ostomy site, and the discharge valve can be closed;
4. Lower end of open pocket (selected according to different configurations):
Sealing strip: Roll the accompanying sealing strip 4-5 times towards the body direction, then fold both ends of the sealing strip and fasten them tightly;
Sealing clip: Roll the lower end of the open pocket 2-4 times towards the body, then use the sealing clip to clamp and fasten.
Self sealing: Roll up the bottom of the self sealing pocket by a certain number of turns, and then fasten both ends.
5. First, blow a small amount of air into the bag, and then remove the protective paper;
6. Align the cutting holes of the ostomy pocket with the site of the ostomy, and place it flat on the skin;
7. When opening the bag for making, open the sealing clip/strip, roll open the lower end of the bag, and then proceed with the arrangement. The residue left at the bottom of the ostomy bag can be wiped clean with a tissue or washed with clean water, and then the ostomy bag can be resealed;
When the urinary tract bag needs to be discharged, open the discharge valve to discharge it. Then, close the discharge valve again;
When replacing, hold down the skin with one hand and gently tear off the artificial pocket with the other.
